Mumbai: Amidst their wedding speculation, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma secretly tied the knot in Italy on Monday. The couple later revealed the news on social media, as they wanted to keep away the constant paparazzi from their private affair.
The wedding was attended by close family members and friends, and given the short list of invitees, the newly-weds are set to host a few receptions when they land in India.
Two grand ceremonies are going to be held in New Delhi and Mumbai on 21st and 26th December respectively. The lovebirds will also be shifting to the India skipper’s new residence in Worli, Mumbai.
The married duo will later travel to South Africa, where Kohli will lead India for their series against the Proteas in January. Anushka will be in African continent for one or two Test matches and may return before the ODI series.
The Bollywood actress is set to spend the New Year with the India talisman and return during the first week of January, where she will be working on her next film with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai.
Later on, Anushka will be preparing for the shooting of Sui Dhaaga with Varun Dhawan, which is set to commence during February 2018. Simultaneously, the 29-year-old will also be occupied with the marketing and promotions of Pari which is releasing on February 9.
