This was Rohit Sharma’s second match as captain of the Indian team, with Virat Kohli taking a break from cricket ahead of the South Africa series. In fact, Rohit has now scored two double tons against Sri Lanka, with the only other one being an innings of 209 against Australia in 2013.
The knock of 208 by the right-handed batsman helped India get to a mammoth total of 392-4 from 50 overs in the second ODI.
