Neymar of Cricket: Glenn Maxwell, Twitterati troll Yuzvendra Chahal for playacting

The wiry leg-spinner was hurt while fielding, with Hardik Pandya's quick throw striking him on the right knee.

Nottingham: Kuldeep Yadav and Rohit Sharma spearheaded India as they crushed England by eight wickets in the first one-day international at Trent Bridge on Thursday.

Sharma hit a wonderful 137 not out after Yadav did the damage with the ball with six wickets, helping India win with 10 overs to spare. Jos Buttler top-scored for England - which has the chance to level the series at Lord's on Saturday - with 53 but they failed to deal with Yadav's spin before toiling in the field.

Yadav claimed 6-25 from 10 overs - including 38 dot balls - as England was outclassed and dismissed for 268 having lost the toss and put into bat. However, midway during the first innings, an interesting incident took place centred around Yuzvendra Chahal.

The wiry leg-spinner was hurt while fielding, with Hardik Pandya’s quick throw striking him on the right knee. Chahal dropped to the ground and tumbled, before holding his leg with a smile.

It was an incident similar to that of Brazil footballer Neymar who received a lot of flak for his theatrics at the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2018. Australia cricketer Glenn Maxwell and Twitterati could not hold back and pulled the legs of the Haryana bowler.
