On break, Virat Kohli takes to Instagram, shares a pic with love' Anushka Sharma

New York: The past three months have been hectic for Indian captain Virat Kohli and the Indian cricket team. Following the end of the glamorous Indian Premier League in May, the men in blue flew to England for the ICC Champions Trophy and then to the Caribbean Islands for the West Indies tour.

Despite not being able to spend much time with his long time beau and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma due to the duo’s tight schedules, the Indian skipper was seen spending some good time with Anushka during his break in New York.

The two were spotted earlier on Wednesday on New York streets.
Later, Kohli shared a picture of the two on Instagram. The caption read, “Much needed break with my (love)”.

The image quickly attracted over 1 million ‘likes’ on the social media platform.
In an interview with Star Sports last month, Kohli had spoken about his special moments with Anushka. Kohli said, “I was in Mohali and there was a Test series going on. I was with Anushka then, she had come to visit me. Surprisingly, when I was made Test Captain, then also she was in Melbourne with me. That was a very special moment we shared together”.

Anushka Sharma is in New York City to attend the 2017 IIFA Awards, to be held on July 14-15 while the Indian skipper will soon have to travel to Sri Lanka as he leads the men in blue for a three-match Test series scheduled to take place on July 26th.

Previously, Virat had also wished Anushka, alongside his mother, on the occasion of women's day.

The Indian captain also shared his true love for Anushka on Valentine's Day.
