Lead a disciplined life, says Anil Kumble
VIJAYAWADA: Former Indian Cricket Captain and former team coach Anil Kumble participated as a Chief Guest in the National Youth Day Celebrations held here on Friday. He said that the playground is our life and the sports teach us how to lead the life with discipline. The Department of Youth advancement, Government of Andhra Pradesh, organized the National Youth Day, commemorating the birthday of Swami Vivekananda at Maris Stella College. He praised the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu for development of sports.
He suggested the youth to develop with the inspiration of Swami Vivekananda and concentrate on the sports. He reminded the Swami Vivekananda speeches at Chicago, which attracted the world. He opined that the talented youth are avail in India and the felicities have to improve for the development of sports. Minister Kollu Ravidra said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is working to develop the youth in the state in many ways like Education, Employment, and the Sports for the health and their future.
He suggested to read the Swami Vivekananda Speeches and to follow to develop in the general Life. Dr Parakala Prabhakar, State Communications Advisor, Special Chief secretary L.V. Subrahmanyam, Komala Kishore, Commisioner of Youth advancement, Vijay Krishnan, Incharge Collector, N. Bangarraju, SAAP MD. Eminent writer Mahjabeen Baig, Dr Pratap Sundar, Dr Chokka Lingam, Dr B. Alivelu Manga, Babu Baig, and 13 districts sports persons participated.
