The first couple of India, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma each straddle their professional lives with class and style. Not ones to post incessantly, after the couple’s adorable Diwali photographs on social media went viral, they are again in the news according to various news reports. According to Anushka Sharma News @AnushkaSharma, Virat spoke about their professions and how they are individuals in their own right and that their work does not come between them at all. Not one to mince words, the social media website posted Virat as saying, “(She) is a professional and she is working here for so long. She is an established professional in her own career and she is one of the biggest celebrities in the country. She has her own vision and she obviously knows what she is doing...”@imVkohli #Virushka.”
Another news report on NDTV also saw the skipper stress about there being no competition between them as they come from different professions.
“Whatever internally we talk about obviously, I am not going to publicly come out and tell people about our conversations but when it comes to the business side of things, both of us are professionals. There is absolutely no competition there at all,” the report said.
The couple who was spotted at Dehradun before Diwali to get the blessings from their guru, had also posted a beautiful photograph of their pehli Diwali at their home.
According to news reports, the guru is Maharaj Anant Baba who also accompanied the couple to Italy for their wedding in December 2017. Anushka and her family have long been his disciples.
