India outplay Sri Lanka to level the three-match Twenty20 series in Mahendra Singh Dhoni's hometown.

Ranchi: India crushed Sri Lanka by 69 runs to level the series three-match Twenty20 series in skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni's hometown Ranchi on Friday.

Shikhar Dhawan’s fifty and solid contributions from Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane and Hardik Pandya powered India to 196 runs batting first. Indian bowlers then joined the party to restrict the Islander for 127/9 as the hometeam sealed an easy win.
