Bhuvneshwar Kumar to marry fiancee Nupur Nagar during India vs Sri Lanka Test series?

New Delhi: Having put the best batsmen to test with his pace and swing, Team India bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar will now embrace a new chapter in his life.

The right-arm bowler, who previously revealed the identity of his fiancee Nupur Nagar on social media, is now reportedly set to tie the knot with his lady love on the 23rd of November in Meerut.

Bhuvneshwar's father Kiran Pal Singh, said that the family was keen on hosting the ceremony in Meerut and having a 10-day window for the wedding, as quoted by Indiatimes.

"The wedding will take place in Meerut and it will be attended by family and close friends. But we want Bhuvneshwar's teammates and members of the Board to also take part in celebrations, which is why we will have a reception in Delhi for them. We are sure everybody will attend it because the entire team will be in Delhi from November 30 for the Sri Lanka series," he said.

Three days after November 26th, another reception will be held at Bulandshahr, the town his fiancée hails from. There will be a grand and final reception hosted at a Delhi hotel on November 30th, where members of the Indian team including the likes of Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin are set to attend the functions. Top Officials from Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association and the BCCI are also expected to grace the occasion.

The ceremony date clashes with India’s Test series against Sri Lanka, which will begin on November 16. Followed by the second Test scheduled for 24-28th November, it is likely that Bhuvi will give is a miss. However, there has been no official announcement from Bhuvneshwar or the BCCI regarding his availability.
