Mayank, Samarth power KSCA XI

In another last-four game, Cricket Association Of Bengal were 295 for three against Mumbai as Abhimanyu Easwaran smashed an unbeaten 287-ball 109.

Bengaluru: Centuries from Mayank Agarwal and Samarth R. put KSCA XI in a commanding position against Vidarbha in the semifinals of the KSCA Dr. (Capt.) K. Thimmappiah Memorial four-day cricket tournament here on Tuesday.

Electing to bat on the opening day, the hosts rode on openers Mayank (146 batting, 243b, 25x4, 1x6) and Samarth’s (116, 279b, 15x4) heroics to post 285 for one. At the Alur (2) ground, Mayank and Samarth added a composed 261 off 506 deliveries before the latter was dismissed by off-spinner Akshay Wakhare six overs before close of day’s play.
