Jasprit Bumrah continues to hold the second place, while Ravichandran Ashwin completes the Top 10 for the bowler's rankings.

Dubai: India have slipped to fifth spot in the latest T20 international team rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday. West Indies, after their nine-wicket win against Virat Kohli and Co in their one-off T20 here on Sunday, climbed up to fourth spot, with 117 rating points.

New Zealand reclaimed top spot in the team rankings, with England and Pakistan below them, in second and third place respectively.

Evin Lewis, who played a scintillating knock with a 62-ball 125 against the Men in Blue, rose to fourth place in the batsman’s rankings for T20s, which is led by Aaron Finch of Australia.

In terms of bowler’s rankings, Samuel Badree of West Indies dropped to fifth place, Pakistan’s Imad Wasim stays at the number one position. Jasprit Bumrah continues to hold the second place, while Ravichandran Ashwin completes the Top 10 for the bowler’s rankings.

India suffered a nine-wicket loss to West Indies on Sunday, after Evin Lewis’ heroics helped the defending World T20 champions claim a win, and thereby clinch the one-off T20 match 1-0.

Team India will next tour Sri Lanka for a complete series (three Tests, five ODIs and one T20) starting with the first Test at Galle on July 26.
