England beat India A by three wickets in warm-up game
Mumbai: England defeated India A by three wickets in their first warm-up match ahead of the limited overs series here on Tuesday.
The last match of MS Dhoni as captain of an Indian side ended in a loss as India failed to defend the target of 305 runs.
Sam Billings, who made 93 was England’s hero. Opener Alex Hales and Jason Buttler put of 95 runs for the first wicket. India’s Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets for 60.
Earlier, a batting masterclass from Dhoni and big scores from Ambati Rayudu, Yuvraj Singh and Shikhar Dhawan helped India post a big total of 304.
