BCCI secretary checks on Hyderabad Cricket Association's nominee

BCCI acting secretary Amitabh Choudhary has written to the HCA asking whether the nomination has the approval.

Hyderabad: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has sought clarification with regard to Hyderabad Cricket Association’s nominee (president G. Vivekanand) for its Special General Meeting to be held in New Delhi on Monday.

BCCI acting secretary Amitabh Choudhary has written to the HCA asking whether the nomination has the approval of the Committee of Administrators comprising Justices (Retd) Anil Dave and G. V. Seethapathy. Choudhary was alluding to the byelaws which state the Secretary will represent the Association on BCCI or any other body.

The agenda for the BCCI SGM is: 1. Proposed settlement with former IPL franchise Kochi Tuskers Kerala, 2. Revocation of suspension of Rajasthan Cricket Association; 3. Future Tours Programme 2019-23 and NADA’s dope testing authority over BCCI.
