Watch: Wahab Riaz misses run-up 5 times in a row, Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur fumes
Dubai: The ongoing second Test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka here witnessed a bizarre incident when the hosts’ pacer Wahab Riaz missed his run-up five consecutive times, which made coach Mickey Arthur furious, who walked back to the dressing room.
The incident took place in the 111th over of the Sri Lankan innings on Day two when Sri Lanka was looking to post a big total, when their score read 336-4.
Reacting to this, it was not only Mickey Arthur who was disappointed, but also captain Sarfraz Ahmed, who had no words to say, but was unhappy.

In the first innings, Wahab Riaz finished with a spell of 1-62 from 26 overs, after having picked up the crucial wicket of opener Dimuth Karunaratne, who missed out on a double ton, departing for 196.
After Pakistan were bowled out for 262 in their first innings, the 32-year-old Riaz came back with a good spell of 3-10, helping the hosts restrict the Lankans to 34-5 at stumps on Day three.
The Sarfraz Ahmed-led Pakistan team had a disappointing outing in the first Test against the Islanders in Abu Dhabi, after the visitors finally clinched a victory by 21 runs. The hosts will be hoping to level the two-match Test series with a win over Sri Lanka, with two days to play.
