Sanju Samson reveals Shikhar Dhawan’s hilarious reply after getting hit on neck

Mumbai: Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan is known for being a character on the field. Sanju Samson has revealed another one of Dhawan’s hilarious instances. This happened during the final unofficial ODI against South Africa A at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram.

During his innings, he attempted to pull off a shot from a Beuran Hendricks length ball. But, he could not get a connection to the ball and it ended up hitting his neck. Fortunately, the hit wasn’t too serious as Dhawan was able to play after a break and a concussion test.

Samson revealed that after the hit, Dhawan walked towards him and hilariously asked him to check whether the ball was broken after it hit his neck. Dhawan, later on, posted a video of this incident on his Instagram handle.

In was in the comment section of this video that Sanju Samson revealed this funny affair. He commented, “After getting hit he says to me... Ball ko dekh toot gaya hoga. @shikhardofficial it was just amazing to spend time with you in the middle ...”

Shikhar Dhawan too wasn’t behind in replying to his comment. He wrote, “@imsanjusamson bak toh karni hai hamesha chaiyeh dard mein kyun nah ho. You are a champ bro, very well played”
