Hyderabad: A. Vamshivardhan Reddy and C.V. Milind hit a century each while Syed Ahmed Quadri and E. Sree Charan shared the bowling honours in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s top division league action here on Thursday. Vamshivardhan struck 177 studded with 17 boundaries and six sixes as Income Tax piled 467 against Jai Hanuman, who had replied with 141 for 6 on the second day of their three-day match.
Milind and Sree Charan were performers on either side of the game between Deccan Chronicle and R. Dayanand. Milind hit a fancy 123 aided by 17 fours and three sixes in Chronicle’s 375 even as Sree Charan returned with figures of 6 for 126. Ahmed Quadri was the other performer. The off-spinning allrounder’s 5 for 31 was instrumental in State Bank of Hyderabad’s thumping win over Hyderabad Bottling.
