Hyderabad: Pragnay Reddy, M. Abhirath Reddy and H. K. Simha scored centuries in the Senior Zonal one-day matches for the Lala Harbans Lal Trophy being conducted by the Hyderabad Cricket Association.
Pragnay hit 160 that included 14 fours and two sixes to fashion Secretary XI’s 70-run win over Emerging XI, who could manage only 239 for 9 in reply to the winners’ 309 for 5.
Abhirath slammed 14 fours and a six in his 104-ball 119 to guide Combined XI to 259 for 9 but Hyderabad XI overhauled the target in 43.4 overs with three wickets in hand, courtesy fine knocks from Chaitanya Krishna (67), Mickil Jaiswal (58) and Prateek Reddy (42). Earlier, C. V. Milind took 4/32.
Simha also hit a ton (109) that boosted Rest XI to 274. Chairman XI could only reply with 202 for 5.
