This Ravindra Jadeja tweet on MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, his family, fans is heartwarming

Colombo: Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja added another feather to his cap on Tuesday after overtaking Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al-Hasan as the ICC no.1 Test all-rounder. The Saurashtra cricketer was also leading the bowling charts, but thanks to his heroics in the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka, Jadeja unlocked another achievement.

With all the praise and adoration pouring in for Jadeja, the southpaw took to Twitter and thanked former and current Team India captains MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli for his meteoric rise.

"My humble journey 2 be #1 Test all-rounder & bowler was possible due to MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and my fans & family. " Jadeja wrote.

Like many other cricketers, Jadeja was one of the gems to emerge from the IPL. His quality soon improved under the tutelage of MS Dhoni who captained him at Chennai Super Kings which earned him a national call up.

While Jadeja had to face some tough time due to loss of form, India skipper Virat Kohli installed the same trust in Jadeja which saw him become an integral part of the Indian cricket team in all formats. The India skipper also congratulated him on Twitter.

Jadeja has been banned for the 3rd Test for breaching the International Cricket Committee (ICC) Code of Conduct after he dangerously threw a ball back at Dimuth Karunaratne.
