Mumbai: Star India batsman Virat Kohli had a terrific run in the Asia Cup. He hid his personal stress after the alleged break-up with girlfriend Anushka Sharma and rescued India from pressure situations.
Virat remained unbeaten on 41 in the final against Bangladesh. He survived the Mohammad Amir storm against Pakistan and scored 49 before an unbeaten 56 against Sri Lanka.
Though the couple did not make an official announcement but the news spread like wildfire.
According to reports, the Bollywood actress congratulated him on his match-winning performances and is planning to meet the cricketer soon.
The 27-year-old Virat has been dealing with the heartbreak for a while. His exclusive solo selfies established the fact that he tried his best to cope up with the split; he also got in touch with Anushka’s brother to win back his ladylove.
Recently, Anushka — who is busy shooting for a film — called him up after India won the Asia Cup. They apparently had a long chat.
The report added that Anushka is likely to take a three-day break from the sets of ‘Sultan’ to meet the cricketer.
With the ICC World Twenty20 in India, a patch up will make Virat come out all guns blazing.
