Hyderabad: Former Hyderabad fast bowler Narender Pal Singh has been named bowling coach of the Hyderabad senior and junior teams while Anirudh Singh has been picked as Hyderabad’s Under-23 coach at the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s Apex Council meeting held on Saturday at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium here.
NP, as he is known in cricket circles, played 101 first class matches during his career spanning 1993 to 2006 and took 319 wickets, 7/24 being his best figures. He claimed five wickets in an innings 16 times and has taken 10-in-a-match twice.
The HCA also informs that the Two-Day Leagues for the Open Selection teams will commence from Thursday. T. H. Shamsunder will be in charge of the League.
