Watch: Jonny Bairstow catches Moeen Ali 6 in dressing room during Test cricket match
Manchester: Moeen Ali is in the form of his life. As England look to clinch their four-match Test series against South Africa, the all-rounder leads the way with an unbeaten 75 off just 66 balls in the second innings.
As Ali smashed the Proteas bowlers all around the park, one particular shot caught the eye of one and all. The blistering six off Keshav Maharaj’s bowling, with which he brought up his 50.
While most other batters would have thought twice about going for the big shot when they are closer to their half-century mark, Moeen does not seem to be one of them, as he danced down the track and effortlessly stroked Maharaj’s delivery into the stands.
Ali had hit the six straight into the England dressing room, where his teammate Jonny Bairstow took a fine catch.
