Watch: Virat Kohli, RCB players gorge on Hyderabadi biryani at Mohammed Siraj's house

Local boy Mohammed Siraj made time to treat his teammates to some delicious Hyderabad delicacies.

Hyderabad: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) face the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Monday in a must-win clash to keep their playoff hopes alive in the 2018 Indian Premier League. And a day ahead of the game on Sunday, RCB pacer and local boy Mohammed Siraj made time to treat his teammates to some delicious Hyderabad delicacies.

Few members of the RCB squad including skipper Virat Kohli, Yuzvendra Chahal, Parthiv Patel, Mandeep Singh and a few others landed at Siraj’s residence at Tolichowki to enjoy some appetizing Hyderabadi biryani for dinner.

The guests were also served patthar ka gosht, korma, khoobani ka mertha and double ka meetha alongside the famous Hyderabadi biryani.

It is learnt the players spent around two hours before they returned back to the team hotel, according to a report by The Indian Express.

Siraj, who is the son of an autorickshaw driver, used to live in a small, two-room apartment near Khaja Nagar in Banjara Hills before buying a new house in Towli Chowki during 2017.

Siraj came into the cricketing spotlight last year when SRH spent a mind-boggling Rs 2.6 crore after his impressive run in the domestic circuit. He was rewarded with a national team call-up later on. Ahead of the 2018 IPL season, RCB roped in the youngster for the same amount.

However, 24-year-old pacer has had a minimal impact this season, having picked up only four wickets in six matches for his side.
