Hyderabad: Traffic restrictions for Indian Premier League

Government and police personnel can use Stadium gate No-XII and NGRI gate no-III.

Hyderabad: Elaborate measures to park 6,280 vehicles during the IPL matches in the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium’s surroundings have been put in place. While TSRTC will operate special buses from the stadium towards Secunderabad, Koti, LB Nagar, Boduppal and Amberpet, Metro rail will function until 1 am. Heavy vehicles will not be allowed from Nagole, Chengicherla X roads, Nacharam and Habsiguda from 3.30 pm till 12.30 am on April 9, 12, 26 and May 5 and 7. These restrictions will be in place from 1.30 pm to 10.30 pm on April 22.

Parking at the stadium has been arranged for vehicle pass holders, while parking for spectators’ vehicles has been arranged in the stadium’s vicinity. Traffic will be diverted for vehicles coming from Habsiguda and Uppal X Road towards Penguin ground, Narsing Rao parking, Genpact to Hindu office, Genpact service road, NGRI gate No. 1 to 3 (Habsiguda to Uppal).

Vehicles from Ramanthapur and Uppal X Road will be diverted through Shakti Soaps parking and NSL ground (D parking). Government and police personnel can use Stadium gate No-XII and NGRI gate no-III. Media pass holding vehicles can park inside gate No. 7 near Penguin ground.
