Bengaluru: Having made a strong case as a man for all formats, KL Rahul added further mileage to his burgeoning international career by going past the 1000-run mark during his impressive 51-run second innings stay against Australia at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru on Monday.
The classy opener reached the four-figure mark in his 25th innings (15th Test), since making his debut against the Aussies at the tail end of 2014, to become the 19th opener from the country to do so.
