Hyderabad: Hyderabad were in poor shape, reeling at 15 for 6, after bowling out Gujarat for a lowly 218 in their Cooch Behar Trophy Under 19 cricket league match being played at Surat in Gujarat.
S. A. Desai had taken four wickets while conceding just one run to put the skids under Hyderabad. However, the Hyderabad U-16 boys did well to score 214 for 3 against Tamil Nadu in their Vijay Merchant Trophy match being played at Shimoga in Karnataka.
Hyderabad rode on fine half-centuries from N. Thakur Tilak Varma (56) and Owais Abdul Waheed (68 batting).
