Twitter rips apart Ravi Shastri over press conference remarks on Kohli's Team India
London: "Last three years, we won nine matches overseas and three series. I can’t see any other Indian team in the last 15-20 years who’ve had that kind of run in such a short time. And you’ve had some great players in those series,” said India head coach Ravi Shastri, on Wednesday, ahead of the fifth and final Test against England.
While the Indian cricket team fans and experts were not too pleased with the side’s series defeat, with some fans asking BCCI to sack Shastri as India coach, Shastri’s comment, on Wednesday, irked many.
The nine wins that Shastri spoke about were in Sri Lanka (5), West Indies (2), South Africa (1) and England (1) and three series wins were in Sri Lanka (2) and West Indies (1).
Some of the Twitter users made it clear that Shastri undermined the achievements of the previous Indian teams and the captains such as Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble and MS Dhoni amongst others.

Under @msdhoni
A series win in New Zealand and 1-1 draw in South Africa 3/3
Bottom line: Facts are stronger not stranger than fiction.
Harbhajan Singh, who had recently criticised the Indian team for their performance in England, retweeted these three tweets.
'No other Indian team in last 15-20 years has had the same run as this one'
