Russel Arnold trolls India after England Test series loss, Twitterati bites back

Indian fans were left unimpressed with his tweet and decided to teach the former Sri Lankan player a lesson.

Mumbai: Former Sri Lankan cricketer Russel Arnold on Tuesday took a dig at Team India after losing the fourth Test against England at Southampton that resulted in a series loss for Virat Kohli and co.

"Test matches are still 5 days aren’t they ??? #justasking," the commentator wrote as India were bowled out on the fourth day at the Ageas Bowl, losing by 60 runs.

However, Indian fans were left unimpressed with his tweet and decided to teach Arnold a lesson. While some reminded him of Rohit Sharma’s double century against his country others trolled the Sri Lankan cricket team.

"When you come so close, there is an art of crossing the line as well, which we will have to learn. We have the ability, which is why we are getting close to a result, and we have belief in that ability. But when a pressure situation comes, how we react to it... is something we have to work on a bit, and everyone is ready to work on that," Kohli said after losing the series.
