Vivek, Sargvi, Narsing best in Hyderabad Cricket Association's league matches
Hyderabad: Vivek Mohan and Narsing Rao hit a century each while D Sai Sargvi took a five-wicket haul to emerge top performers in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s league matches played on Tuesday. The two-day game between Green Turf and Sportive CC threw up two performers. Vivek smashed 20 boundaries and two sixes to hit a 187-ball 154 as Sportive replied to Green Turf’s 262 with 256 in a drawn match. Mohan’s effort was despite left-arm pacer Sargvi’s supreme figures of 5 for 49.
Narsing Rao of Telangana CC was the other centurion. He hit 101 that contained 15 hits to the fence in his side’s second innings against Future Stars as their match ended in a draw. Mahesh Babu (5 for 21) of Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda’s B. Buchi Babu (5 for 71) stood out in an inter-district U-23 two-day league match that the former won by an innings and 115 runs.
