New Delhi: Well, that’s what one calls family. India cricketer Ravindra Jadeja did not invite teammates MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina for his wedding because they are a part of his family – his close friends who would anyway come for the event.
Jadeja spoke to a Bengali news channel and said there was no need to invite Dhoni and Raina. But if required, he will send in a special invitation for them.
The cricketer will tie knot with mechanical engineer Reeva Solanki on April 17 during the ninth season of Indian Premier League season (IPL). Jadeja – who will play for Gujarat Lions (new franchise) – got engaged to Reeva in February.
As a pre wedding gift, Jadeja got an AUDI car (worth Rs 95 lakh) from his would be father-in-law.
