Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s surprise decision to step down as India’s limited-overs skipper has shocked the cricket fraternity and fans. While he hasn’t yet spoken about him stepping down, Sakshi Dhoni, his wife, took to Twitter with a “proud of you” message for her husband.
“@msdhoni There are no mountains high enough to stop you from climbing.Proud of you !! (sic),” she wrote on Twitter.
Dhoni, who was just a game away from captaining India in 200 ODIs, felt the time was right to pass on the mantle to Virat Kohli. The tributes and wishes have not been stopped ever since he announced his decision.
