Ahmed Shehzad trolled on Twitter as Pakistan team visits Prime Minister's office
Karachi: Played a match, looked out of sorts, scored 12 runs, was a downer in the field barring a direct hit against England in the semifinal as a substitute. That pretty much summed up Ahmed Shehzad’s performance during the ICC Champions Trophy in England as he once again failed to live up to the expectations while Sarfraz Ahmed-led Pakistan clinched their maiden ICC Champions Trophy title.
While his on-field performances hardly played any part in Pakistan’s triumph, it has not stopped Shehzad from being in the news.
The Pakistani opener, who is often trolled for his obsession for selfies, invited the latest round of criticism after he stood in the front row, with a mobile in hand, during Pakistan cricket team’s visit to Prime Minister’s office.

It was clear that cricket fans were not pleased with Shehzad and some of them took to Twitter to lash out at him.

Ahmed Shehzad is that one friend who hasn't done anything in making of the project but has his name at the top of the submission list. pic.twitter.com/4dRXZ3ypnn

Why is he even standing in the first row? What did he do for the trophy really?

More interested in selfies than performing on the pitch says it all
