Watch: Rohit Sharma throws ceremonial first pitch' before Major League Baseball game
Seattle: India cricketer Rohit Sharma on Monday tried his hand at baseball as he became the first cricketer from the country to throw the ceremonial ‘first pitch’ for Major League Baseball (MLB) side Seattle Mariners at Safeco Field, which is their home ground.
Rohit, along with his wife Ritika Sajdeh are currently on a three-city tour to the United States, and is in the country as a part of the Desh-Legends of Cricket Series' programme.
The ceremonial ‘first pitch’ is something where a celebrity guest throws a ball in order to conclude the pre-game festivities. Seattle Mariners had taken on Tampa Bay Rays recently.
