Bengaluru: There’s no doubt that India are in deep trouble against Australia in the second Test in Bengaluru, having scored only 189 in the first innings. The onus is on bowlers now and India’s premier bowler Ravichandran Ashwin produced a magical delivery in the first session of the second day to dismiss Australian opener David Warner.
Australia lost Warner in the 22nd over, early on Sunday at the score of 52. The ball pitched outside the leg stump, and turned sharply, forcing Warner to go on the back foot. The batsman, however, could not do much as the ball evaded his bat to crash into the off stump.
Ashwin has now dismissed Warner eight times in Tests, more than any other bowler.
