Mumbai: Team India skipper Virat Kohli was on Saturday felicitated by the Shivaji Park Gymkhana (SPG) here.
The right-handed batsman arrived in the Gymkhana in Dadar area of Central Mumbai at around 11.30 AM, SPG Assistant General Secretary Sunil Ramchandran told PTI.
The 28-year-old batting superstar, who recently took over as captain in limited-overs format, was later felicitated by SPG Chairman Avinash Kamat, Ramchandran and SPG committee member Sanil Samel.
The Gymkhana has given several cricketers to the national team over the years. These include Ajit Wadekar, Sunil Gavaskar, Sandeep Patil, Sanjay Manjrekar, Praveen Amre and Ajit Agarkar.
