Col CK Nayudu Trophy: Chandan Sahani falls six short of century

Hyderabad batting unit couldn't click as a whole apart from Chandan and Vinith who boosted their side's total by hitting half-centuries.

Hyderabad: Chandan Sahani played a composed innings but his nerves got the better of him eventually as he fell six runs short of what would have been a deserved century. G. V. Vinith Reddy too contributed a valuable 61 as Hyderabad finished the first day at 208/7 in their Col. C. K. Nayudu Trophy U-23 match against Odisha at the Gymkhana Ground.

Using the crease first, Hyderabad batting unit couldn’t click as a whole apart from Chandan and Vinith who boosted their side’s total by hitting half-centuries. Preet Singh Chouhan (4/36) was the top bowler for the visitors. Tanay Thyagarajan and Mir Omer Khan were batting at 2 and 1 respectively when the stumps were drawn.
