Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, the wife of India’s former captain late M.A.K. Pataudi will be travelling to London to witness the fifth and final Test match between England and India. “I will go for the Oval (Test) match,” she said, from Delhi.

Incidentally, the Test series between England and India is fought for the Pataudi Trophy. The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) commissioned this new trophy, in 2007, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of India’s first Test match in 1932.
“I can confirm that the Pataudi trophy will be presented at the end of the series at the Kia Oval”, said Ben Walker, the Senior Communications Manager, from London.

Proud and happy
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli’s family is overjoyed about the cricket ace’s recent century. “We are all very proud and happy for his innings”, said Virat Kohli’s brother, Vikash Kohli. “On the earlier occasions questions were raised about his batting skills but we did not have the slightest doubts about his ability,” he added.

Century Celebration
Family did not want to say much about Kohli’s way of celebration when he took out the diamond ring that was gifted by wife Anushka Sharma as an enagagement ring, from his neck (he did not wear it on his finger) and kissed it.
“Virat is a professional cricketer and it was his personal way of celebration. Anushka is a great motivator,” Vikash said, confirming Anushka’s presence at the Test series venue.
