ICC CWC\'19: Picture of MS Dhoni spitting out blood goes viral
Recently, the 37-year-old grabbed headlines after he playing a slow knock against England in the World Cup.

Mumbai: Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni has received a lot of criticism due to his slow batting approach in ICC World Cup 2019.
Fans and former cricket players have censured Dhoni as he has struggled to score runs at a brisk pace lately. Many people have even questioned Dhoni's current batting intent and capabilities to collect runs quickly like he used to do in his initial years.
Recently, the 37-year-old grabbed headlines after he playing a slow knock against England in the ICC World Cup 2019. Dhoni was seen struggling to find boundaries and thus, had to rely on singles and doubles in his innings.
He, along with Kedar Jadhav, scored just 39 runs off the final 31 balls, which included 20 singles and seven dot balls. Dhoni remained unbeaten on 41 off 32 balls as India eventually lost the match by 31 runs.
However, one thing which went unnoticed was the pain which Dhoni was suffering while batting. Dhoni had taken a hit on his thumb twice in the game-- first while wicket-keeping and second while batting.
Pictures of the former skipper sucking his thumb and spitting blood went viral on the internet after the match. The fans on social media appreciated Dhoni's dedication and commitment towards the team.
.@msdhoni played with an injured thumb, and spat out blood. But still, there are “Experts” out there on social media, who question his “intent”. Stupefied is the word!#TeamIndia #MSDhoni #Dhoni pic.twitter.com/uetkN903Yz

One day he will walk away without saying anything to anyone. After that day, you all will miss him so much and regret about saying against him.
