Thala love: Young fan breaches security to touch MS Dhoni's feet in CSK dugout; watch
Kolkata: Every year in the Indian Premier League (IPL), fans flock to the stadium and make their presence felt in order to catch a glimpse of their favourite cricket stars. They also make sure to extend their support to their favourite teams in the best possible way.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is one such club with a large and passionate fan base and a large part of it is because of their adopted hero Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Even despite their home games being shifted from Chennai because of the Cauvery protests, the Yellow Brigade do their best to be present in big numbers, be it home or away matches.
On Thursday, during the encounter between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and CSK, one particular fan moment from the match displayed how much fans are obsessed with Dhoni. A young fan breached the security and made his way to the team dugout, wearing the CSK jersey with Dhoni’s name and number printed on the back.
The fan bowed down to touch the CSK skipper’s feet and it took a few moments before a security guard interrupted and escorted the young boy out of the area.

Despite the incident taking place unknowingly, the veteran cricketer warmly embraced the fan and presented him with a pat on his back.
The wicket-keeper batsman later continued his rich form as he smashed an instrumental 43 off 25 deliveries to help his team finish at 177-5 on board. However, the table-toppers were denied another victory as Shubman Gill and Dinesh Karthik guided KKR to victory with a 6-wicket win.
