Australia's Bevan or MS Dhoni? Michael Vaughan picks his Dream XI ODI finisher

The 43-year-old recently ran an interactive session on micro-blogging site Twitter, where fans could and ask him whatever they wished.

Mumbai: Michael Vaughan has been an active figure on social media. The former England captain now makes a living as a broadcaster and also an author, but never misses an opportunity to interact with his followers or even share his cricketing opinions.

There have been instances in the past where certain tweets haven’t gone down well with fans, but at times, Vaughan has also won hearts.

The 43-year-old recently ran an interactive session on the micro-blogging site, where fans could use the hashtag #AskVaughan and ask him whatever they wished.

An Indian fan soon questioned the Englishman about choosing between Australian great Michael Bevan or veteran Indian wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni for the position of a finisher in Vaughan’s dream ODI XI.

Quick to reply with an answer, Vaughan stated the question was a no-brainer as he chose the former India skipper.

Previously during January, Vaughan ran a poll requesting his followers to choose between MS Dhoni and England wicketkeeper Jos Buttler based on current form. He soon faced the wrath from Indian fans who trolled him mercilessly.

However, in recent times, Vaughan has made his admiration for Virat Kohli well known. Recently during India’s tour of South Africa, he praised the India skipper whenever he was blown over by watching him. Vaughan even named the aggressive right-hander as one of the greatest ODI players.
