Mumbai: The things are looking up for again for Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli after it emerged that the former called India’s Test captain.
The actress called Team India's swashbuckling batsman after Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led side crushed arch-rivals Pakistan in Asia Cup T20 encounter on Saturday in Mirpur, according to reports.
While there is no confirmation from either, there were reports of duo parting ways after dating for more than two years.

While some said it was Anushka’s denial to Virat’s marriage proposal that led to their break up, the others indicate that it was Anushka's decision to sign ‘Sultan’- a movie opposite Salman Khan- that did not go down well with Virat.

Although the duo maintained stoic silence about their relationship status, India’s Test skipper posted a ‘heartbroken’ selfie.
Virat, who was rested during the three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka at home, made the most of his free time as he bonded with family.
It is learnt that the pillar of India’s batting line-up is doing all he can to woo Anushka all over again.

According to reports, Virat remains in touch with Anushka’s brother as he wants to have Anushka back in his life.

However, it seems the Bollywood actress is also keen to reciprocate after she reportedly called Virat following India-Pakistan game in Asia Cup and congratulated him for his gritty match-winning innings for 49.

While Indian cricket team has its eyes set on winning the ICC World Twenty20, it will face Bangladesh in Asia Cup final on Sunday.
