Sarfaraz Ahmed bags unique ‘fifty’, joins Mahendra Singh Dhoni in elite list

MS Dhoni leads the chart after having captained and kept behind the wickets for India in 200 ODIs.

Mumbai: After Pakistan won the third One Day International (ODI) against Sri Lanka, the team clinched the series 2-0. The first ODI got washed out due to rain. However, during Pakistan’s third ODI win, Pakistan’s ICC Champions Trophy winning captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed scripted history.

The captain wrote history by becoming the second wicket-keeper in history of the cricket to captain his team in 50 ODIs. Only former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is above the current Pakistani ODI skipper.

MS Dhoni leads the chart after having captained and kept behind the wickets for India in 200 ODIs. Dhoni as a captain had won 110 ODIs, lost 74 and five matches ended as a tie, while 11 matches ended as no result. While, captain Sarfaraz has won 27 and lost 20 matches.
