Hyderabad: BCCI chief selector M.S.K. Prasad and his wife have joined hands with the Andhra Hospitals, Vijayawada, and Healing Hearts team from the United Kingdom in helping babies born with heart ailments.
“In the last three days our team has performed 13 rare heart surgeries all of which have been successful. All the surgeries are done free of cost as parents of those babies cannot afford the costs involved,” said Prasad. “I feel fortunate to be a part of this program. I am going to support this baby for her post operation care. Doctors have performed 12 hours operation on Friday and the baby has survived. I will look after her from now on,” Prasad added posing beside a little one in the hospital bed.
