Mayanti Langer shuts down Twitter trolls mocking Stuart Binny
Mumbai: Renowned television presenter Mayanti Langer lashed out at cricket fans on Twitter, who were mocking her and cricketer husband Stuart Binny on the social media.
Twitterati mocked Binny for his poor performance during India’s first T20 International against the West Indies, at Fort Lauderde, on Saturday, when he gave away 32 runs in a single over.

Langer responded back with a strongly-worded message. "Taunting me with suicide is shameful. Think of the families that suffer because of this tragedy and you have reduced their plight to a joke," Mayanti Langer posted on Twitter. "I hope bullying us made you feel better about yourselves, cause otherwise was it really worth it."

India went on to lose the match by one run, after nearly chasing down the 246-run target set by West Indies. As a result of this, India went on to lose the T20I series 1-0, as the second match was called off due to rain.
