Rohit Sharma mingles with Team India, Kumble during practice session in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: The Indian cricket team is leaving no stone unturned in its preparations for the second Test against Australia in Bengaluru. The Virat Kohli-led side, which lost the opening Test in Pune by 333 runs in under three days, is making sure that it sharpens the skills to topple Australia at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and level the four-match Test series 1-1.
While on Wednesday skipper Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane were seen sharpening their reflexes as they were given catching practice, Anil Kumble, alongside R Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav, was seen rolling his arm over in the nets.

While the Indian team was occupied with its practice drills, it was happy to welcome Rohit Sharma to the nets. The star Mumbai batsman, who is raring to make a comeback to the Indian side after recovering from a thigh injury, is currently in Bengaluru at the National Cricket Academy and he made sure to come down to meet his Indian teammates.
Rohit, who on Wednesday, revealed that he “can't wait to play Vijay Hazare on 4th & 6th (March)”, mingled with coach Anil Kumble and fielding coach R Sridhar before he was clicked with Ajinkya Rahane.
If Rohit proves his fitness as he plays for Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy games, he has a chance to get picked in the Indian squad for the last two Tests against Australia.
