Kohli to Siraj: Indian Players to Watch Out For This World Cup 2023

India will take on England in their ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 warm-up match at Guwahati. This match will serve as a valuable practice for Men in Blue to hone their skills and for some of its players to find form or maintain consistency. Here are players to watch out for in the match

Virat Kohli

Every fan loves watching 'King Kohli' in action and this match will be no exception. Also, having batted very little in ODIs ahead of the World Cup, Virat will get some more valuable time out in the middle to get back to his absolute best.

Rohit Sharma

The Indian opener and skipper has been consistent this year, but unable to convert his good starts and half-centuries into big centuries like he used to earlier. Some more game time could very well allow 'Hitman' to find his rhythm and ability to stay longer at crease and later, replicate his heroics of 2019 World Cup, where he scored five centuries.

KL Rahul

The middle-order batter is the rock of the Indian batting line-up and is currently in the form of his life. These two warm-up matches will give him chance to shed some nerves ahead of the big tournament and get even better with the bat.

Jasprit Bumrah

The pace spearhead has been impressive since his return from injury. Though he has not taken a lot of wickets, his rhythm, pace, accuracy and ability to trouble batters are still there. A massive performance in the warm-up matches will take his confidence even higher.

Mohammed Siraj

This young pacer is getting better with each passing game. Currently ranked as the number one ODI bowler, some good performances in warm-up matches will keep him motivated and confident ahead of the main event.
