Hurricane T20 Challenge: Nasser Hussain commentates from field, Twitter not pleased
The match was held to raise funds for the damage caused to the cricket stadiums in West Indies due to Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

London: Top cricketers around the world united for a noble cause on Thursday when West Indies took on ICC World XI at Lord’s here in order to raise funds for the losses that happened during Hurricane Irma and Maria last year.
The Twenty20 World champions dominated most of the match as they beat Shahid Afridi-led World XI by 72 runs.
The match, however, witnessed a one-of-its-kind sight when commentator Nasser Hussain entered the field and started commentating from the slips. It was during this time when he had an interaction with Afridi, whose team was fielding.

Nasser Hussain as Reporter on the field in an International Game... This isn't allowed anyway #CricketRelief pic.twitter.com/vwfbwdqVDp

Nasser Hussain, on commentary, at first slip for the opening over. This is why these games - wonderful as they are - should never have international status. #WIvRoW pic.twitter.com/T3caRzOEEA

This is a full international, but apparently the West Indies playing the Netherlands in the World Cup Qualifiers was not https://t.co/ATSoJ8832N

This is an official T20 international and a reporter (Nasser Hussain) is standing in a deepish first slip position.

Charity match, to be played only semi-seriously
Really enjoyed the #WIvWorldXI game and kudos to @SkyCricket for making their feed available for free...but i hope to your deity of choice that we never see that Nasser Hussain experiment montrosity on a cricket ground again! #shudder

Nasser Hussain wandering round the field not quite knowing what he is doing.
Nothing new there then!
Seriously is this the way forward for our “glorious summer game “?
This was Afridi’s last international match. The 38-year-old made his international debut against Kenya in an ODI back in 1996. The cricketer was given a Guard of Honour by his teammates before the match.
