Chennai: Hyderabad continued their dominant run in the Syed Mustaq Ali T20 tournament, as they won their third consecutive match, beating Kerala by five runs on Tuesday.
Chasing Hyderabad’s 126, Kerala were cruising at one stage. But they went from 99 for 1 to 114 for 7 before falling five runs short of the target. Tamil Nadu, who lost to Hyderabad on Monday, put up a commendable performance against Goa, while Karnataka beat Andhra Pradesh.
Tamil Nadu eased past Goa by nine wickets. Opting to bat, Goa crumbled to 107 in 16.2 overs. Abhinav Mukund slammed an unbeaten 52-ball 68 to take Tamil Nadu home in 13.1 overs. After a day break, the tournament will resume on Thursday.
