Bhagath, Ghazi Best In HCA's Senior Men’s Super League

Bhagath’s 5/15 was the standout spell of the day, one which helped Team ‘C’ defeat Team ‘A,’ for whom Ghazi’s 5/43 went in vain. Pranav Varma also contributed 3/12 and 4/47 across the match for Team ‘C.’

Team G’s 375 provided the largest total of the day’s two matches and left Team F facing a significant first-innings deficit. Team F responded strongly with 321/6 in the second innings, led by Aman Rao’s 96 and substantial contributions from Alankrith R (81) and A. Varun Goud (84 batting), but the recovery was not enough to erase Team G’s advantage.

In the match between Hyderabad and Bengal Under-19s, Anish Mahapatra’s unbeaten century headlined the contest as Bengal successfully chased Hyderabad’s 275. Mahapatra struck an unbeaten 130 from 132 balls, including 14 fours and four sixes, to anchor Bengal’s successful pursuit. The visitors reached 276/7 in 46 overs, with Dibya Netra Das adding 58. Aneesh Rathi took 4/51 for Hyderabad, while Hridhi Nag claimed 3/50.

Bowlers dominated the Under-16 inter-schools & junior colleges tournament with M. Amarnadh Goud of Delhi Public School (Nacharam) being the most notable performer. He took an extraordinary 8 wickets while conceding just 11 runs as Silver Oaks International School were dismissed for 32 in pursuit of DPS’s 280.

Ashwith Uppala of Warangal claimed 5/2 and Neeraj Sai Garipally of Hyderabad School of Excellence got 5/5. Rayan Shaik took 5/20 for Nalgonda-1 while Eage Havish claimed 5/62 for Genesis School.

Batting was led by G. Parthiv Varma’s 135 and Jatin Sharma’s 117. G. Prasanna Kumar added a blistering 109 from only 47 balls, while S. Aditya Gupta made 108 from 94 balls.
