Hyderabad: Hyderabad girl K. Sri Krishna Priya reached the final of the prestigious Malayala Manorama All India senior ranking badminton tournament being held at Thrissur in Kerala. The fifth seed beat G. Vrushali 21-16, 18-21, 21-17 in the semifinals. Earlier, Krishna Priya stamped her authority throughout the tournament beating J. K. Malavika, Riya Pillai, Shika Goutham.
Krishna Priya trains at the Pullela Gopichand academy and has represented the country in many international tournaments at Thailand, Malaysia, Netherlands, Germany and also represented the country at the World Junior Championships at Peru. She represents the Chennai team in the Premier Badminton League.
