ZPHS Manakondur Students on Four-Day Educational Tour to Delhi

Union minister for state Bandi Sanjay Kumar, after learning about the visit, hosted the students at his official residence and arranged free food, accommodation and transportation for the duration of their stay.

Karimnagar: As many as 60 students from the Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS), Manakondur mandal in Karimnagar district, are on a four-day educational tour to Delhi aimed at familiarising them with India’s heritage and national institutions.

Union minister for state Bandi Sanjay Kumar, after learning about the visit, hosted the students at his official residence and arranged free food, accommodation and transportation for the duration of their stay.

According to teachers accompanying the group, the tour is designed to broaden students’ understanding of the country’s history and governance. On the first day, the students visited landmarks such as India Gate, the National Police Memorial and the Red Fort. Their itinerary also includes Raj Ghat, Birla Mandir, Akshardham Temple and the Central Secretariat.

On Friday, the students will visit Parliament and the Prime Minister’s Museum, followed by trips to Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar and Safdarjung’s Tomb. The group will travel to Mathura on December 27 before heading to Agra, from where they will return home by the Dakshin Express, arriving at Jammikunta railway station.
