Youth Dies In Road Mishap at Miryalguda

Nalgonda: A person died and five others injured when an oil tanker rammed into six vehicles including an ambulance at Nandipadu on Adhanki-Narketpally highway in Nalgonda district in the early hours of Friday.
The deceased was identified as Poleti Srinivas Rao (36), who was native of Ponnuru of Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh. The staff of 108 ambulance K Swapna was also received serve injuries in the incident.
According to the police, an oil tanker rammed into an ambulance and five cars at Nandipadu leading to the death of a victim and injuries to the persons traveling in the cars. When an ambulance came to the spot to shift a person, who received juries after falling from his motorcycle, to a hospital, Venkateshwar Rao had also stopped his car to help the ambulance staff to shift the motorcyclist into the vehicle. Suddenly, an over speeding oil tanker hit the ambulance and rammed into another five cars. Venkateshwarlu was crushed to death between the oil tanker and an ambulance. Swapna, who received serious injuries, have been shifted to a hospital at Hyderabad for better treatment and her condition was said to be serious.
Another four persons, who were traveling in the cars and received injuries, were shifted to a hospital at Miryalaguda for treatment.
